Sous Chef

Located in the beautiful village of Much Marcle, Herefordshire, The Walwyn Arms requires sous chef to help continue the development of this family run country dining pub. We have an excellent reputation for food, we offer, full fresh food menu, pub classics & daily changing specials, alongside a successful Sunday carvery.

You will be part of the kitchen team of five+, using fresh produce to create delicious, interesting pub dishes of high quality. You’ll have input into menu & daily specials; and will deputise for head chef two days per week.

You’ll be working in a beautiful part of the world, with a great FOH and BOH teams and a large kitchen. 650-850 covers per week.

Previous experience in a busy, fresh food kitchen is essential for this role. Ongoing training is provided.

We are offering a full time, permanent contract

We offer competitive salary & a sensible 55 hr working week with two consecutive days off.

Salary: £28,000.00-£31,000.00 per year

Chef De Partie. We are looking for a star to join our busy kitchen team asap!

We have an excellent reputation for food, we offer a carvery 3 days a week, alongside a full fresh menu featuring pub classics & daily changing specials.

You will be working to support Head Chef Patryk & a kitchen team of 4+, using fresh produce to create interesting pub dishes of high quality. You’ll be working in a beautiful part of the world, with a great FOH and BOH team and a large kitchen.

Previous experience in a fresh food kitchen would be beneficial for this role. Good ongoing training and coaching is provided and experienced team.

We are offering a part-time or full-time, permanent contract, 20 – 50 hrs per week, and a work life balance.

Duties include,

Greeting, seating & serving customers, taking orders, bar & restaurant duties

Duties include,

Washing up, general kitchen cleaning and very basic food preparation duties
